Welcome to Invoice Splitter (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services available at https://invoicesplitter.com (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

Invoice Splitter is a web-based tool that uses AI (Google Gemini) to split multi-invoice PDF files into individual files, crop and straighten scanned receipts, and rename each output file based on extracted metadata such as vendor name, date, and amount. The actual PDF splitting and renaming happen in your browser; only the AI analysis is processed server-side.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service.

Users from any country may sign up; however, due to restrictions from our payment processor, some countries cannot access the paid version of the Service. These users may still use the free version.

Accounts and Access

You may use the Service as a guest without creating an account. Guest users can process up to 5 pages per day with all features included.

To access a higher page allowance, you can create a free account by signing in via Google or email link. Free accounts receive 50 pages to use at your own pace — no credit card required.

Paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Firm) are available for higher monthly volumes. Details are available on our Pricing and Refund Policy page.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and preventing unauthorized access.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Any illegal or unlawful activity.
• Reverse-engineering, copying, or reselling our Service.
• Uploading harmful, malicious, or virus-infected files.
• Spamming or engaging in disruptive activity.

File Handling Disclaimer

• We are not responsible for the content of files you upload.
• Uploaded PDFs are sent securely to Google Cloud (Gemini API) solely for invoice detection. The splitting and renaming of files happen entirely in your browser.
• We do not permanently store uploaded files on our servers. Files larger than 4 MB are temporarily uploaded to Firebase Storage for processing and are deleted afterwards.
• Your files are never used to train AI models.
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI processing, invoice recognition, or renaming.
• You are responsible for reviewing processed files before using them.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary downtime.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data, or other consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the last 30 days.

Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
